SEO and content/Search Console
Search Console
Connect Google Search Console to pull your real query data into Analyse, where it drives the opportunities list and sits next to your behavior data.
Connecting
- Open the SEO engine for your site and choose to connect Search Console.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to the property.
- Pick the property that matches your site.
Analyse syncs performance data, queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position, on a daily schedule. The OAuth token is stored encrypted and is only used for these reads. You can disconnect at any time from the same screen.
What you get
Search Console data on its own tells you how Google sees you. Inside Analyse it is joined with what visitors do after they land, which is where it gets useful:
- Queries with high impressions and low CTR surface as title and meta rewrite candidates in the opportunities list.
- Keywords ranking just off page one become the priority list for the blog pipeline.
- You can trace a query to the landing page to the funnel it feeds, and see which search traffic actually converts.
Note
Google exposes Search Console data with a delay of a day or two. Recent dates fill in as Google publishes them, this is a Google property, not a sync failure.
