SEO and content/Knowledge base

Knowledge base

A structured wiki for what your product and business actually are. Written for your team, read by the AI, and the reason generated content sounds like you.

What it is for

The knowledge base is a tree of rich text pages inside each site: product descriptions, positioning, pricing logic, feature explanations, style notes, whatever the next writer needs to get it right. Two audiences read it. Your team, and the AI, which searches it when answering assistant questions and when writing blog posts.

The knowledge base is available on the Pro plan and above.

Working with pages

Pages support headings, lists, tables, callouts, images, and the usual block editor shortcuts (type / for the block menu). Pages nest, so you can keep a tidy tree like Product → Features → Pricing. Each page can have an icon and a cover, and keeps a version history you can restore from.

Content is indexed for search as you write, which is what makes it available to the AI. If AI answers seem to miss recent edits, the reindex control on the knowledge base screen refreshes the index.

Writing for the AI

A few things make the knowledge base a better grounding source:

  • State facts plainly. "The Pro plan includes 10 sites" beats a paragraph of marketing copy.
  • Keep one topic per page, retrieval works page by page.
  • Update it when reality changes. The AI will confidently repeat whatever the page says.
Heads up

Treat knowledge base content as public safe. It grounds generated blog posts, so anything written here can surface, reworded, in published content. Keep internal secrets out.

Editing from MCP

The knowledge base tools are exposed through the MCP server, so an AI agent with a write scoped key can create and update pages. Useful for keeping docs in sync from your own workflows.
