AI assistant
Ask your analytics questions in plain language. The assistant queries the same data as the dashboard and can build segments, funnels, and boards for you.
What it can do
The assistant lives under AI in the site navigation. It has direct access to your site's data through the same tools the dashboard uses, so it answers with real numbers, not summaries of summaries. Things people ask it:
- "How many visitors completed checkout last week, and how does that compare to the week before?"
- "Build a funnel from pageview on /pricing to signup_completed."
- "Which blog posts brought in the most signups this month?"
- "Create a board for tracking our onboarding drop off."
Queries are scoped to the current site and a date range, which you can change mid conversation.
Conversations
Conversations are saved per user, so you can pick up an analysis where you left it. Each answer can be rated with a thumbs up or down, which helps tune the assistant.
The tools behind it
The assistant works by calling tools: get_analytics_overview, query_events, get_funnel, list_cohorts, list_users, build_segment, create_dashboard, and the knowledge base tools. The exact same tool set is exposed through the MCP server, so anything the in app assistant can do, Claude or Cursor can do from outside.
Grounding
If your plan includes the knowledge base, the assistant can search it while answering. That is how it knows what "the pro plan" or "the March campaign" means in the context of your business rather than guessing.
The assistant discloses that you are talking to an AI system, and its answers are generated. Treat big decisions the way you would treat a colleague's quick query: sanity check the numbers in the dashboard first.
