Getting started
What is Analyse
A plain-language intro to Analyse, what it tracks, and why server owners use it.
Analyse is an analytics platform built specifically for game servers. It answers the questions every server owner actually cares about:
- Where are my players coming from?
- Which creators or ads are actually worth paying for?
- Why do players leave, and how do I make them stay?
- What should I sell, and at what price?
You install a plugin on your server, connect your Tebex store, and every player who joins shows up inside Analyse with everything we know about them. The dashboard then turns that raw data into charts, funnels, and answers in plain English.
Who it's for
If any of the points below sound like you, Analyse will save you hours every week.
- You pay creators to promote your server but you don't really know which ones drive players that stick around.
- You run ads or boost posts and guess whether the spend was worth it.
- Your store has dozens of packages and you don't know which ones are actually profitable.
- You're about to launch a new gamemode and you want to know if the idea is working after week one.
- You want to A/B test spawn layouts, starter kits, or store prices but you don't have time to build tooling for it.
What it does in one sentence
Analyse connects every player action (joining, playing, buying) back to the marketing source that brought them, and gives you tools to improve that journey.
The three big ideas
Most of Analyse is built around three ideas. Understanding them makes the rest of the docs much easier.
- Servers and Networks. Every backend game server you run is a Server in Analyse. A group of Servers is a Network. You get per-Server stats and a combined view across the whole Network.
- Campaigns. A Campaign is a tracking link (usually a subdomain like
pewds.yourserver.com) that you give to a creator or put in an ad. When a player joins through that link, Analyse remembers it forever. - Revenue attribution. When a player buys something on your Tebex store, that purchase is linked back to the Campaign they originally came from. You see exactly how much a creator earned you.
Ready to set it up
The rest of the getting started section walks you through install, recommended setup, and your first campaign. It takes about 10 minutes end to end.
