Qu'est-ce que Campaign ?

A named marketing effort tracked in analytics, usually via utm_campaign, so all traffic and conversions from it can be measured together.

A campaign is a named, time-bounded marketing effort (a product launch, a sale, a webinar push) whose traffic you track as a unit. In web analytics the name travels in the utm_campaign parameter, so every click from every placement of that effort rolls up under one label regardless of channel.

The point of campaign tracking is comparison across channels within the effort: the same launch might run through email, social posts, and paid ads, and the campaign view tells you which of those actually produced signups rather than just clicks. Discipline matters more than tooling here. Agree on a naming convention before launch (2026-07-summer-sale, not Summer Sale!!), tag every link, and resist reusing a campaign name for a different effort later, because that merges their histories permanently.

Judge campaigns by outcomes: conversion rate and revenue per campaign, not raw sessions. How you split credit when several campaigns touch the same buyer is the attribution problem.
