Mi az a User journey?
The path a visitor takes through your site, from entry page through the sequence of pages and actions to exit or conversion.
A user journey is the path an individual visitor takes through your site: which entry page they arrived on, what they viewed and clicked in what order, and where the visit ended, in an exit or a conversion. Zoomed out across many visitors, journey analysis shows the routes people actually take, which are rarely the routes you designed.
The value is in the gap between intended and actual paths. You built home to features to pricing to signup; the data shows half your converters enter on a blog post and jump straight to pricing. That finding changes where you put links and what those blog posts should say. The practical warning is combinatorics: raw path reports explode into thousands of unique routes, most walked once. Look for the few dominant patterns and the recurring detours (pricing to FAQ to pricing suggests an unanswered question) rather than trying to read every path.
Journeys are the exploratory view; once you know which path matters, formalize it as a funnel and measure it properly.
