¿Qué es Event?

A tracked interaction beyond a pageview, such as a click, signup, download, or video play, usually with a name and optional properties.

An event is any tracked interaction that is not a plain pageview: a button click, a form submission, a file download, a video play, a purchase. Events usually carry a name ("signup_completed") and optional properties ("plan": "pro"), which is what turns raw traffic data into product and revenue questions you can actually answer.

Good event tracking is deliberate. Track the handful of actions that map to business outcomes and name them consistently ("signup_completed", not "Signup", "sign-up", and "newSignup" in three places), because renaming an event later usually splits its history. The most common failure mode is the opposite: auto-capturing every click, ending up with thousands of noisy events, and trusting none of them. A written tracking plan of 10 to 30 events beats auto-capture for almost every team.

Events are the raw material for goals, funnels, and conversion rates. In Analyse you can define events and then ask the AI assistant questions about them in plain language.
