Co je Pages per session?

The average number of pages viewed in a single visit, calculated as total pageviews divided by total sessions.

Pages per session is pageviews divided by sessions: the average number of pages a visitor looks at in one visit. It is a quick proxy for how deep people go into your site.

Interpretation depends on what the site is for. For a content site or a store, more pages usually means more interest. For a support site or a checkout flow, more pages can mean people are lost. E-commerce sites often see 3 to 5 pages per session, blogs 1.5 to 2.5. Because it is an average, a small number of long browsing sessions can mask a majority of single-page visits, so check the distribution and the bounce rate alongside it.

If the number is low and you want it higher, look at internal linking and the paths visitors actually take, which is what user journey analysis is for.
